La Calavera Quicky: two songs of notice

Ahhh. . .today's theme mi amigo y amiga is L.A. Once I find some I.E. songs, you know I will be postin' those up.

Here is "Drinking in L.A." by Bran Van 3000 released in Feb of 1997 on the their first album "Glee", which hit gold in 1998. Bran Van 3000are from Montreal, Canada.

The second piece is an old favorite in the the Electro/House music scene: Felix Da Housecat with "Hollywood Madame". Released in 2001 on the Album "Kittenz and Thee Glitz", this album was a pioneer in the Electroclash movement which is now popular. "Kittenz and Thee Glitz" brought more attention and fame to Felix Da housecat in the dance music and fashion world.

Both these songs have lyrics which are thoughtful if you listen closely (I'd do a quick little analysis but I gots ta go). Enjoy.
