This just sends chills up my damn spine. I think I'll get it in black with a nice graphic of a Calavera on the roof or on the hood.

I know how everyone and their mom is hyped up about "The Dark Knight", especially my boy Myronimus, but could it be the same exact movie as Tim Burton's original "Batman" flick? Check it out, lemme know what you think..
Hip surgery and all, Prince can still funk it up. Check him out at Coachella. He even raps!
I found out I may be going on a trip next month? Where??
Oh yes... Anything really can happen my friends.
Our San Diego trip was canceled due to our boy Carson getting in a car accident today. He's okay, but his car is pretty messed up. Please send your prayers out to him. With San Diego being out of the picture for the weekend I have to find some other plans. Coachella maybe??
I had to steal this from Kanye's blog because me and Raaya liked it so much! We're sorry for laughing. But lemme know if laugh too.
Bape Store opens Friday in LA. Is anybody as excited about this as I am? Maybe my brother.. and Kanye.
It's time for another mini-vacation. This time out in beautiful San Diego. Skippin all the craziness at Coachella to take a nice relaxing break out in SD. Vegas didn't count as a relaxing weekend. Anyway, it should be fun. Any peeps in the SD area hit me up.
The Rocky Horror Picture show.
Peep Jonah's De La Soul "Stakes Is High" shirt. Those cats gotta be big into dope hip-hop music. I still got love for Saturday Night Live even though I don't stay home to watch it..
Happy Birthday this week to my girl Crystalina!! We celebrated her b-day in style, big time!

Last night's South Park reminded me of how my life's been the past week. My internet connection on my computer has been trippin out (hence the lack of posts), but it was also a good reminder that there are so many other things to do other than use the internet. Life will be like this one day.

Ahh that David Lynch, the man who is beyond palabras!!! Thank you for your words of wisdom and point of view. Watch out Scientology. . . the Church of Lynch is coming soon. Enjoy.
David Lynch on product placement in movies.
David Lynch's "A Goofy movie" (a fan of David Lynch created this cool video using "A Goofy movie" and editing it to look like a David Lynch flick!)

This is a speaker in disguise, where you can keep dvds, cds, video games, anything you damn well please. It's great for people like me who always have people trying to steal their stuff. So when they come to my house and ask "Hey, do you have Lost Season 3? Can I borrow it?" I'll be like "Sorry bro, don't got it.. try Blockbuster." Haha.
Good sounds just keep comin' up. La Calavera and his woman spent the night just samplin' one kind of music after another. We found Hermeto Pascoal thanks to The Avalanches who appreciate his music and have sampled some of his records. Here are three vids with el hombre de Brazil who has worked along side such greats as Miles Davis, Alphonso Johnson, and many others:

This music just gets La Calavera's cuerpo in motion! You can't help but feel the music grab hold of your soul and sense the spiritual connection it has with madre earth. Pascoal helps you remember that music can resonate from anything; the plucking of a guitar string, the scratching of records, even the beating of a plain wooden log or splashing some water. Hope it inspires some of you out there.

Last night's episode of South Park was ridiculous! They were spoofing everything!
Today I was just chillin' sampling some artist's here and there. . .you know looking for that sound that just adds that something to the day. My ears finally caught that something.
You know La Calavera loves him some scratch and break beats! From back in the day when he was a nino chiquito living in Santa Ana, bangin' his fist and slapin' that hand up against the wall creating some kind of ancestral Aztec beat to messing with my mom's Juan Gabriel records and getting in trouble when I scratched them on the record player, La Calavera was constantly trying to imitate those sounds that he would hear on the radio. This leads me to The Avalances. Here's some info on them:
"Never mind digging in the crates -- the Avalanches probably just buy them whole, sight unseen, and find a way to bounce off each platter. Eventually morphing into a gang of six merrymakers bent on filtering their all-encompassing record collections through original instrumentation and a great deal of sampling, the Avalanches came from one of the most unlikely places to generate mind-bending dance music -- Australia.
Perfectly fitting with the band's range, the roots of the crew are in punk. Robbie Chater and Darrin Seltmann were in a couple of short-lived outfits together, most notably the Swinging Monkey C**ks. Gordon McQuilten, Toni Diblasi, and Dexter Fabay eventually joined in on the mess, but they acquired turntables and set their sights on dance music of the sample-based variety, originally leaning on abstract hip hop and naming themselves the Avalanches. Trifekta Records released the Rock City single in 1997, which soon brought the interest of Australian label Modular. With a long-term deal freshly inked, they released the seven-track El Producto EP and polished their outlandish live show, including dates with the Beastie Boys and Public Enemy. Rex issued the Undersea Community EP in 1998, which culled from the band's demo trove. Somewhere along the way, keyboardist James De La Cruz was added to the lineup.
An extensive patch of time was spent building Since I Left You, a 60-minute melting pot of the band's collective that sounds like a postcard to anyone who has ever made a record. Released in their native land in late 2000 and preceded by the appetite-whetting Frontier Psychiatrist EP, it received a response from critics and the public that reflected the album's glowing nature. The group even had the blessing of Madonna, who allowed them to sample the bass line to "Holiday" -- the first time she okayed such a thing. Beggars Banquet-offshoot XL issued the album in the U.K. in May of 2001; Sire released it in the U.S. in November of the same year."

La Calavera knows that the 80's party out in San Bernardino with Carson must've been the shit!! In honor of the fiesta, here is a clip I found of the song "One Track Lover". Actually, it's from a funny show made back in 04' that was a spoof on the 80's. Enjoy.

New skateboards released by Supreme in a collaboration with artist Marilyn Minter. Pretty fresh!
This is an expensive new race car bed made by Etsy. Reminds me of that freakin' Ferrari bed me and La Calavera had to move down our fire escape when we first moved in our pad a few years back.
this video is beautifully shot. Makes me wanna roll out to Chi town and check out the artistry around the city.
